Kurt Meder GmbH - since 1954 a guarantee of the highest technological expertise.


Since founding, Kurt Meder GmbH specialized in the manufacture of precision springs to the smallest dimensions. Meder began its business supplying the watch-and-clock-making industry and is today a renowned partner of the precision mechanics, optical and electrotechnical industries as well as the automotive, communications and medical sector. More than 10 Mill. spring products are created on a daily basis for international customers.

 

1954 

 

Kurt Meder began producing precision springs for the clock-making industry.

1959 

 

The company's building was established at the present location.
Extensions have been completed in 1961, 1965, 1969, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1998 und 2003.
Since the very early beginning Kurt Meder specialized in the manufacture of precision springs.

1965 

 

First foreign agency was contracted.

1981 

 

Change of name to Kurt Meder GmbH.

2002 

 

KERN-LIEBERS Group takes over the majority of the Kurt Meder GmbH.
Within this worldwide acting group Kurt Meder GmbH can globally make use of its potential.

2003

First certfication of the quality management system acc. to ISO TS 16949:2002.

2005

First certification of the environmental management system acc. to DIN EN 14001.
